I build things that help ideas move.

I'm a Los Angeles–based creative strategist, program leader, creative director, writer, educator, and makeup artist working at the intersection of creativity, culture, people, and business.

Across luxury retail, creative operations, education, publishing, beauty, and cultural media, my work has consistently centered on the same question:

How do we turn complex ideas into something people can understand, believe in,and act on?

I design programs, systems, learning experiences, and creative strategies that bring clarity to complex problems and alignment to multidisciplinary teams. I particularly enjoy the space between strategy and execution—taking a big idea, figuring out what it needs to become real, and building the framework that allows people to make it happen.

My approach is rooted in three principles:

Give people the knowledge, tools, and confidence to do their best work.

Design for Sustainability.

Create solutions that can be adopted, measured, improved, and carried forward.

My creative practice runs parallel to this work. With a background in fine art and more than a decade working across beauty, fashion, editorial, and cultural media, I bring a visual and cultural perspective to strategy that is deeply informed by making things myself.

As a creative director and writer, I've worked across editorial, brand development, digitalcampaigns, events, and artist partnerships. I co-founded Occulture, a media and creativeplatform supporting artists through brand development, marketing, publishing, and

storytelling, and previously served as Editor-in-Chief of Lethal Amounts and AssociateEditor of Auxiliary Magazine.

I'm also a professional makeup artist, educator, and lifelong student of visual culture. My creative interests span music, fashion, design, beauty, art, subculture, and the strange, beautiful things that exist at their intersections.

The common thread through all of it is curiosity.

I like understanding how things work—and figuring out how they could work better.

Outside the Work

When I'm not developing programs, directing creative work, or teaching, you'll usually find me immersed in music and alternative culture. I'm a DJ under the name Lizzie Sixx and have performed with Ravens Moreland, holding a particular affinity for garage, punk, post-punk, new wave, and the darker corners of rock 'n' roll.
